Our Teachers
Deletha Stevenson, Director Deletha graduated from the Mississippi University for Women in 2009 with a Family Studies with the Techer’s Certification degree. In 2009, she realized her dream of having her own state license childcare program after receiving her degree. Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children that she teaches and their families. She believes that small class size and the development of a strong community allow her and her team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.
Philosophy
At our Lisa’s Christian Learning Center, we strive to create a safe and caring community of young explorers inspired by the Play based/Hands on philosophy. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together. We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. Our team of experienced and innovative teachers do this by creating a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.
Location
We’re in the located-on Gardner Blvd; on a business street in a commercial building. With easy access to everything from the Columbus Library to natural walking in a quiet neighborhood located on a street behind the facility. We’re a few blocks away from the Mississippi University for Women campus. Yet in a peaceful, quiet location if you’re looking to commute from GTA and surrounding area it’s a parent’s dream!

At Lisa’s Christian Learning Center in Columbus, children thrive in a supportive and engaging setting. Our program focuses on enhancing cognitive and motor skills through interactive learning activities. With a special emphasis on hands-on experiences, we help children build a strong foundation for their early education and personal growth.

If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.
- Submit an Enrollment Application If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
