My name is Teasha McCallum, and I am proud to be the owner of Dream Big Kidz Learning Center in Clinton MS. I am from Jackson and attend elementary, Middle and high school in Jackson, I later attended Hinds CC in Jackson and received my Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education and then my Bachelors from Jackson State University. I am certified to teach Early Childhood education and have a degree in Reading. This will be my 10th year in ECE and my first year owning and opening my own In-home childcare center. I worked for Americorps for four years as a reading tutor working with K-3rd at Raines and Smith elementary.
I have a true passion for working with infants to elementary learners!! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development whether its academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. Like the song goes “ I believe the children are our future teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside! This journey has been well worth the wait I pray that God blesses me daily and gives me the strength and love to show all children in my care how much they are loved.
Personally I have 4 fantastic children who are 20,17,7 and 6 years old and attend CPSD. I love to watch my children be in their element and sing, dance and play sports! I also enjoy reading, cooking, music, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

Our centers philosophy is a mixture of progress and structuralism. Though I agree that books can be a helpful resource, I will urge the ones in my care to dream BIG and that you are never to young to learn Students are the center of education, and my role will be to support them in anyway possible. I believe it’s crucial to let kids discover things on their own through play and guiding. They decide what information is significant and ought to be remembered in this way. The focus should always be on the students when it comes to learning. Us teachers are just there to guide students and help them develop their talents. I believe the purposes of education are ever evolving. I believe that children learn best when they are taught under certain conditions and in certain ways. Some of these are having a safe place to be themselves and Dream Big Kidz is where it’s at!

We are Located at 102A Meadowwood drive Clinton MS 39056. On the corner we are minutes away from Lions club park,MC and Clinton public school plus all the best restaurants Clinton can offer. Nestled away from the busy life of Springridge road but only minutes away from I-220. Kingdom Dreamers Academy is the place to be!!!!!!
