Our Teachers

Our childcare providers are comprised of nurses, teachers, and early childhood educators. At our childcare program, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and educational environment led by experienced and passionate teachers. Our founder and lead teacher brings over a decade of experience working with children, paired with an extensive background in healthcare and a minor in psychology. Her expertise allows her to monitor children’s developmental milestones closely, identify potential areas of concern, and recommend appropriate interventions to support their growth. Her love for children and a deep sense of care motivated her to open this program. Having a daughter born prematurely, she understands the unique challenges families face when finding childcare for vulnerable children. This personal experience inspires her to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive space where every child can thrive. Our teachers lead with creativity, empathy, and a genuine desire to pour motivation and encouragement into every child they work with. We are dedicated to fostering curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning in every child under our care.

Philosophy

The Kourtnei and McKenzie House will primarily focus on curriculum development. At our childcare program, we believe children learn best through hands-on experiences and play. Play is the foundation of a child’s exploration, creativity, and growth, and we embrace it as a powerful tool for learning. We understand that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. That’s why we meet each child where they are, tailoring our approach to their individual stage of development. Our teaching is guided by careful observation of how children engage with the world around them. By understanding their interests, interactions, and natural curiosity, we create meaningful learning experiences that inspire growth and foster a love for discovery.

About our program

Our program is all about teaching healthcare concepts. Unlike traditional childcare facilities, we prioritize individualized attention by maintaining a low child-to-caretaker ratio, ensuring that every child receives the utmost care and support. What truly sets us apart, however, is our commitment to fostering a love for learning from an early age. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to be both engaging and educational, incorporating a blend of play-based and structured activities that promote creativity, critical thinking, and social development. We believe in the power of hands-on experiences and encourage children to explore their natural curiosity in a safe and nurturing environment. Moreover, our dedicated team of passionate educators are constantly evolving our program to incorporate the latest research in early childhood development, ensuring that every child’s unique needs are met, setting them on a path to a bright and successful future.
