Our Teachers

At Promise to Cherish Yours, I am proud to personally provide all of the care and education for the children in my program, with the occasional support of my twin daughters, Royonna and Roy’Ae. We believe that maintaining a small, family-oriented environment ensures that every child receives consistent, personalized attention in a safe, loving space. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of trust, and I am committed to ensuring the highest level of care without the need to bring in outside staff.

Philosophy

At Promise to Cherish Yours, we believe that children learn best through play while also developing essential life skills. Our play-based approach encourages hands-on learning, creativity, and social interaction, all while fostering independence and self-confidence. We provide structured yet flexible activities that support early childhood development, including:

• Independence Building – Encouraging children to complete age-appropriate tasks on their own, such as cleaning up, dressing themselves, and making simple choices.

• Sensory Play – Helping children explore textures, colors, and sounds while learning through experience.

• Creative Arts – Hands-on activities like painting, music, and storytelling to enhance self-expression.
• Outdoor Play & Gross Motor Activities – Helping children develop coordination, balance, and confidence.
• Social & Emotional Development – Teaching kindness, sharing, and problem-solving through guided interactions.
• School Readiness – Incorporating early literacy, numbers, and problem-solving in a fun and engaging way.

Our goal is to create a safe, nurturing space where children not only learn but also grow into confident, independent individuals. We encourage self-sufficiency and believe in teaching children how to do things for themselves rather than enabling them.
