Our Teachers
Jolonda graduated from McCluer North High School in 1993, She had a dream of becoming a daycare provider but in stead got my CDL and went to drive kids at Laidlaw school bus company then went over to drive the public at Metro transit, after years in transportation she keeps thinking of childcare and realized her dream of having her own in home childcare program after having taking on her 2yr old cousin. Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children that she teaches and their families. She believes that small class size and the development of a strong community allow her and her team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.
Philosophy
At our school, we strive to create a safe and caring community of young explorers inspired by Jolo Care Bears and staff. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together. We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. Our team of experienced and innovative teachers do this by creating a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.
