Our Teachers

Cortaiga Collins, Owner

-Good Shepherd was founded by Cortaiga Collins in 2009 as a result of negative experiences during her search for a quality early childhood program for her own children.  She has a bachelor’s degrees in child development and communications.  She earned her master’s degree in business administration.  Under her leadership Good Shepherd has expanded to its second location and in April 2020 began construction on a new state of the art facility.

Good Shepherd is a long standing early childhood education(childcare) provider for the West End, Wells-Goodfellow and Hamilton Heights Neighborhoods. We are empowering families to build stronger communities and better futures. Good Shepherd creates kindergarten-ready students that are capable of entering any classroom across the region. We are a nationally accredited facility that creates experiences that prepare children to successfully face the world.
