Leading Legacies Child Care

Philosophy

VISION: As a Christian center, we at Leading Legacies hold true Psalm 78:5-7 “… He commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.” Our vision is to leave a positive impact on each child’s life while leading them towards the kind of happiness and success that will carry on into future generations.

QUALITY OF CARE: Within our clean, safe, and Christian environment, we provide unique and individual care to all children. We encourage individuality and strive to teach respect, selflessness, acceptance, kindness, honesty, integrity, and love for humankind. We provide planned activities that nurture age-appropriate growth and development.

STAFF/COMMUNICATION: Our qualified teachers work past the level of custodial care to bond with your child and create lifelong friendships with families. We encourage start and end-of-day chats between you and our staff.  These open lines of communication help build acceptance, independence, and security, as well as positive self-esteem in your child.

SAFETY: There is no issue more important to parents and Leading Legacies than the safety of the children. On all levels, our safe and secure environment allows your child the comfort to be him or herself, thus nurturing their growth and development. At all times, we will be in accordance with the State Child Care Licensing Rules.

Location

Our center is conveniently located right on Highway 61 with direct access on and off the highway, making it quick and easy to drop-off and pick-up your child. We are conveniently close to Scott County Central School as well as several nearby towns and major businesses. Interstate 55 is less than 10 minutes away for those commuting.

Admissions

We offer a personal, guided tour of our center for those interested in enrolling. This provides families with the opportunity to ask any questions they may have while witnessing first-hand the level of service and instruction we provide our children on a daily basis.
