Our Teachers
I have been an in home childcare provider in the same home for 30 years. I continue to reinvent my program as children’s needs change and as we grow. I have an AAS in Early Childhood Development, a Child Development Associates Credential, and a Minnesota Infant and Toddler Credential. I recently recieved my Business Leadership Credential. My professional development continues to grow. I enjoy engaging in education for myself, and that in turn provides learning from me with children and families. I take pride in having a successful program.
Philosophy
As an early childhood educator I acknowledge that parents are THEIR CHILD’S FIRST TEACHER. Although I have learning units prepared I allow children to lead where we go with them. My program has a homey atmosphere and I encourage children to be kids. We are a community and we all support each other. Bonds are formed here and the kids gain friendships. Confidence is strengthened by encouraging self help skills.
Location
We are located close to town but in a country setting. I have a fenced in back yard and ample room for bikes and fun activities. We can sled in the winter and we love bubbles, obstacle courses and rockets in the summer. Our outside playground is very active daily.
