Our Teachers
My childcare experience is hefty! At a young age I found myself interested in babies and toddlers that pushed me to always have First Aid and CPR certifications. I was employed with TaTa’s Home Child Care in Westland for 4 years before attending college at Eastern Michigan University. In 2020 I graduated from EMU with a bachelor’s degree in social work along with a Minor in Business Administration. During that time, I was hired into a licensed daycare center in Canton for 6 short months before deciding to move forward. I really enjoyed working within an at home childcare program for the family-like setting. From this point I was hired into a foster care agency that helped strengthen my skills working with kids and parents. Aside from my background in working with children, I worked at a bank for 6 years with the last 3 years as an Assistant Bank Manager. I feel very confident that with my education, experience, and finance background I can create a unique-loving atmosphere for the children and parents enrolled.
Philosophy
Our mission is to create a safe, clean, and open space while building and maintaining a trusting relationship with each parent(s)/guardian(s). We are dedicated to providing a healthy environment by remaining positive, encouraging healthy choices, and introducing curriculum that promotes proper stage development based on each child’s current learning pace. We focus on achieving an overall happiness for each individual in care, their families, our employees, and volunteers.
Location
We are located in a great neighborhood behind John Glenn High School! We hope to have your baby or kiddo join us come June 5th 2023!
About our program
The hive will have a modern day feel with a focus in developing healthy habits setting us apart from other programs in our area. We offer an organic menu, encourage morning stretches, and practice hygiene routines! We recognize the importance of teaching all children at their own pace yet have determination and encouragement to keep each kiddo hitting their next milestone. The program will have a set of monthly early education subscriptions to help along the way.
