Our Teachers
Hello, my name is Kiara Kirkland, and I am the owner and teacher at Tiny Joys Daycare. I started this home daycare because I believe children thrive in a safe, nurturing, and family like environment where they can learn, explore, and grow at their own pace.
I have 20 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to school- age. I am state- licensed/ certified in CPR and First Aid.
At Tiny Joys Daycare, I focus on:
Providing a loving, home- like atmosphere where children feel secure. Encouraging learning through play, creativity, and exploration. Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic growth. Working closely with families to create a strong partnership in each child’s care
I look forward to welcoming your child into our daycare family and being part of their early learning journey!
Warmly, Kiara Kirkland

Philosophy
Our childcare facility philosophy centers around creating a safe, nurturing environment where children are protected, respected, and encouraged to develop at their own pace. We believe in the importance of play-based learning to foster social skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence while supporting holistic development. Furthermore, we emphasize partnership with families to work together in nurturing the whole child and guiding them through positive reinforcement and clear boundaries. Childhood is a time for wonder, discovery, and joy, and through our approach, we aim to nurture each child’s imagination, curiosity, and love of learning daily.
