Philosophy

We at Major Child Care Academy ensure our curriculum caters to the needs of our students, which is why we develop three different programs based on our student’s ages and capabilities.

We ensure our activities fit the children in terms of cognitive, physical, mental, and social abilities. We incorporate into our programs various tasks that help develop all areas of learning so that children learn holistically with us. We also prioritize character-building and basic life skills in our curriculum.

Location

Our Location is a secure and safe. We offer buzzer service and an enclosed gated play area.

About our program

Inaugurated in 2022, Major Child Care Academy embarked on its heartfelt journey as a tribute to the late Dr. Major E. Smith. Throughout his lifetime, Dr. Smith’s unwavering commitment to community service, activism, and education left an indelible mark on numerous lives across Southeastern Michigan. His profound influence has inspired his family to unite in creating an environment where every child is empowered with the essential tools for success.

At Major Child Care Academy, our mission is to provide a holistic and individualized approach to the care and development of infants and toddlers.
