Philosophy
At the heart of my childcare philosophy is the belief that each child is a divine gift, uniquely created with a purpose and the potential to grow into a whole, balanced individual—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. We emphasizes independence, self-directed learning, and carefully designed materials, with Play-based learning: Emphasizes learning through exploration, discovery, and child-initiated activity. Core Methods & Approach:
• Rhythm and Routine: Children thrive in consistent, predictable environments. I provide a gentle daily rhythm that includes creative play, storytelling, music, outdoor time, and quiet reflection.
• Imaginative Play & Hands-On Learning: I encourage open-ended, imaginative play using natural materials to stimulate creativity and problem-solving.
• Connection to Nature: Daily outdoor experiences help children develop wonder, gratitude, and stewardship for God’s creation.
• Faith & Character Development: Biblical values such as kindness, patience, honesty, and gratitude are woven into our days through stories, songs, and simple prayer, helping children grow in spiritual awareness.
• Warm, Home-Like Environment: Inspired by Waldorf’s emphasis on beauty and simplicity, the childcare setting is peaceful, warm, and intentionally designed to make children feel safe and cherished.
• Deliberate Media-Free Setting: Young children need real-world experiences. I offer a screen-free space to protect their natural sense of wonder and foster deep, meaningful learning.
Guiding Rules & Values:
1. We treat others with kindness and respect, as all are made in God’s image.
2. We care for our environment, keeping our space clean and beautiful.
3. We listen with our hearts and speak with love.
4. We move slowly and gently, with purpose.
5. We follow our daily rhythm to feel safe, balanced, and joyful.
6. We give thanks daily—to God, to each other, and for the world around us.
My mission is to plant seeds of love, faith, and lifelong learning in each child’s heart. Through rhythm, reverence, and meaningful connection, I hope to create an environment where children feel at peace and free to grow into the people God created them to be.
Location
Our Neighborhood
Nestled in a peaceful suburban community, our home childcare is located in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood where children can thrive. Tree-lined streets, well-kept homes, and friendly neighbors create a calm, secure setting that feels like a true village of care.
Our neighborhood is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, offering a quiet atmosphere ideal for outdoor play, nature walks, and peaceful naps. With minimal traffic and plenty of green space nearby, children can enjoy a slower pace of life where they feel connected to the world around them—while parents can feel confident they’re in a safe, wholesome environment.
Whether we’re watching squirrels in the trees, watering flowers on the porch, or taking a stroll down the block, the beauty and stillness of our surroundings help support the calm, nurturing rhythm that defines our program. Theirs a community park within walking distance
