Jeff & Yvette Fredricks, Owners
Both of us have 28 years of experience. Piglet’s Playhouse is a rebranding of their previous childcare home (Momma Vette’s Sugar Babies). Moving to a new location prompt a new name, but the same and even better quality. We pride ourselves on growth in our field.
Philosophy
Family childcare in a “home like” setting is the best alternative there is for working parents. It provides a small secure environment for children during the most vulnerable time of their development. Family child care offers a home away from home, providing children with “siblings” of all ages to play, socialize and learn from. Our goal is simply to provide quality childcare for your child by giving them these few things…. a safe, nurturing and learning environment. Last but not least an environment that fosters unconditional love.
Location
Piglet’s Playhouse is in the city of Saginaw, Michigan in Carrollton Township. We are a 3-minute ride away from Carrollton School District. We also have school transportation to drop children off in front of our facility.
About our program
Piglet’s Playhouse based in Saginaw stands out for its dedicated teachers and supportive atmosphere. Children thrive in our program through interactive learning experiences, connecting with other children in their age group, and thriving for success. Our focus on early education fosters independence and growth in a caring and loving environment. What separates Piglet’s Playhouse from other daycares is that we specialize in working with the children individually and equally. To guide them in knowing what’s right and wrong in some predicaments. At Piglet’s Playhouse we do early development through play. Having small sessions with the children where we count with them, color, sing, and show them how to help each other out.
