About our program
Granny’s Precious Offspring Home Childcare will provide a loving, safe, and stimulating environment for your child. I look forward to a long and rewarding friendship with your child and family. Communication is the key; please feel free to discuss your concerns with me as I will with you.
About Our Program The main focus is our children safety. Granny’s Precious Offspring is 24 hour Licensed Home Childcare that was established in 2018 with 6 children. The home childcare relocated in 2022 and was re-licensed for up to 14 children.
We are licensed and insured to provide transportation to and from the childcare and to school from the childcare and from the childcare to the child’s home or designation. Depending on location and availability, seating is limited.
The curriculum that is currently being used is Experience formally known as Mother Goose as well as other educational materials to help maintain the children’s interest. The children participate in activities that will challenge their cognitive, social emotional and language skills. We also assist with potty training beginning at age 2
What we learn and more • Identify Alphabets and their sounds, Identify, numbers, 2D and 3D shapes, patterns
• Cognitive, Social development, and communication skills
• Confidents, counting, sight words (age appropriate) •Gross Motor skills and fine motor skills,• Increase vocabulary skills, • Colors • Identify Animals and other objects
We also help children to learn how to share, identify and manage feelings by demonstrating what that looks like. We also teach them how to spell and write their names depending on their educational level. Also, we teach the children proper hygiene by washing their hands prior to eating and returning in from outside.
We teach our children to sneeze inside their shirts. If they sneeze in their hands or arms, they will touch others and toys, or another child can touch their arm which will contain germs that will be passed too person to person. Sneezing in their shirts will prevent that.
Food Program
Our childcare participates in the free child and adult food federal funded program. Each child will receive two meals and a snack or two snacks and a meal depending on the time the child is present for the childcare program. Meals and snacks are nutritious and can consist of fruit, protein, milk, 100% whole grain, and vegetables.
We also have pizza on Fridays.
The 3- and 4-year-old also learn that we must complete our organized planned activities prior to open play. They also learn how to sit and follow directions, respond and answer when their names are called. These skills will help them be successful when they attend grade school. We will do our best to get them ready to attend grade school with parent participation. However, they must come on a regular basis for me to do so.
