Felicia Guess has over 35 years of experience working with children. Received an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science, Early Childhood Education from Schoolcraft College (graduated in 2000), a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix (graduated in June 2003), and Associate and Bachelor’s Degrees in Ministry from Sure Foundation Theological Institute (completed in 2004).
Philosophy
It is our model to “Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old, they will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6. It is this goal that ties our values into the values of the parents and allows total devotion on the part of both staff and parents alike. We aim to provide quality care for children, which allows them to reach their full potential, which in turn complements care within the family and supports parents/caregivers, Educators and the community. CHILDREN’S PARADISE, INC. provides the above mention services via qualified and certified CPR and lead teaching staff and is fully verse of all state requirements, which are reviewed on a timely and appropriate basis. It is the goal of CHILDREN’S PARADISE, INC. to educate parents and the community at large that children are a blessing from God, purposed by design to meet the destiny here on earth and in the afterlife. CHILDREN’S PARADISE, INC. believe that teaching a child obedience and providing a safe environment filled with love and expectation of his promises, will ultimately lead them to a whole and fulfilled life as an adult. CHILDREN’S PARADISE, INC. is just that, “A PARADISE”, filled with God’s glory and promises, and we as his servants are to further the endeavors of his people, beginning with the children. CHILDREN’S PARADISE, INC. philosophy is very simple, “Expect a miracle”, believe when the mind conceives it, the eyes see it, the heart believe it, one can perform it, today and everyday. CHILDREN’S PARADISE, INC. provides all instructions governed by the Holy Bible [which is Basic Instruction before Leaving Earth] to all of God’s children. This concept is totally embraced and employed at our center and it is a creed of which is reiterated every day through our daily devotion and praises.
About our program
Our focus is to provide an encouraging educational experience that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. provide extended hours, [24-hour service], Sunday through Friday. The center opens at 6 p.m. on Sunday’s providing 24-hour care until Saturday at 6 p.m., which would cover a great majority of the hours that parents have the greatest concerns.
