Working in schools, as a Paraprofessional and long-term substitute, has shown a need for our young learners to be more emotionally and socially ready. The goal is to help each student be prepared before starting school. She believes that small class size and the development of a strong community allow her to know each child individually and provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.
Philosophy
Foundation Builders Childcare is committed to creating a warm, nurturing, safe environment that fosters learning. We want to help your child increase their confidence, and self-esteem by treating them as unique individuals, and allowing them to express themselves in a variety of facets. We strive to make your child’s time at daycare the best experience it can be for them as well as you, the parents.
Location
We’re in the South Redford neighborhood School District; on a tree-lined street in a single-family home. There are lots of trees in our outdoor space to play and explore. This is a peaceful, quiet location on our block.

With mixed-age classes, every child finds a welcoming spot to learn and explore.

- Tour our program Come see what makes Foundation Builders Childcare unique. You’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future. Another way is to call us to request a tour.
- Submit an Enrollment Application If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option is not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
