Our Teachers

Breeana Thomas, Owner

Breeana has been a mom for 22 years. She has raised her three biological children, 3 step-children, parented 2 exchange students, loved and cared for 22 foster children and adopted her son Jackson in May 2022. She is excited to be welcoming her first grandchild in February 2024!!

Breeana has worked in many different fields, but realized her true passion for children when she began foster care. Providing a safe, loving, trustworthy environment for all children is her top priority! Allowing children to have a fun, be playful, and enjoy a carefree environment to just be kid is so important to their development and Breeana makes it her #1 goal to give children a true childhood experience while in daycare.

Philosophy

At Learning Bridge Childcare we believe all children deserve a safe, loving, and nurturing environment to learn and play in. We believe children deserve respect and in turn will learn to respect themselves, their peers, and the adults around them.

We believe the key to fostering a love of school is to allow children to learn at their own pace and in their own time. The teachers at Learning Bridge will take the time to slowly learn about each child, what their likes and dislikes are, and foster their natural curiosities and passions by incorporating them in the classroom and sharing them with their peers.

We believe that once children feel safe, loved, and honored in their day to day interactions that true learning, creativity, passions, sharing, teamwork, respect, and friendships will naturally develop. It is our role as a childcare to provide a safe and fun center that children will learn, grow, and thrive in.

Location

We are located in Waverly township of Paw Paw. Our childcare provides a large fully fenced in back yard with safe play equipment. We provide trips to the library, zoo, museum, and other activities within the community to allow children to have new experiences in the community.

About our program

We believe in providing a safe, nurturing, loving environment for all children that will build their confidence, self-esteem, and friendships.
