Our Teachers

At the heart of Brytney’s Child Care Program is Brytney, a passionate caregiver and educator who brings both heart and experience to her role. With a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and years of hands-on involvement in early childhood and family care, Brytney is deeply committed to supporting the development of every child in her program.

Her journey in childcare began at home, working closely alongside her mother, an experienced community caretaker, where she gained firsthand insight into what it means to nurture, guide, and support children from all walks of life. This early experience helped Brytney develop a unique perspective on creating safe, structured, and enriching environments for children of all ages.

Now, Brytney is thrilled to embark on this next chapter—partnering with families in Muskegon Heights and beyond who are looking for dependable, high-quality care. Her approach is rooted in compassion, structure, and community, ensuring that every child in her care receives the attention and support they need to grow, learn, and thrive.

Philosophy

At Brytney’s Child Care Program, we believe that children learn best through love, example, and grace. Brytney’s approach to care and education is rooted in the idea that children are always watching, always absorbing, and always capable of learning—not just once, but over and over again.

We recognize that every child is a unique individual, and we strive to create an environment where they feel safe, valued, and free to be themselves. Mistakes aren’t something to fear—they’re an essential part of growing. Here, children are reminded that learning is a journey, and each day brings new chances to discover, explore, and try again.

By modeling kindness, patience, and respect, and by offering a little grace along the way, we help children build confidence, self-awareness, and emotional resilience. Our goal is to support each child’s growth, not just academically, but socially and emotionally, so they leave our care ready for whatever comes next, with a strong sense of self and a love for learning.

About our program

At Brytney’s Child Care Program in Muskegon Heights, we believe that every child deserves more than just care—they deserve a nurturing, enriching experience that sparks curiosity, builds community, and fosters growth. Our home-based program offers a warm, welcoming environment where children of all ages thrive through personalized attention and engaging learning experiences.

Rooted in a family legacy of caregiving, Brytney’s passion for early childhood education was inspired by her mother’s commitment to nurturing children in the community. This deep-rooted understanding of what it takes to build meaningful, supportive relationships informs every aspect of our program. We honor the families who have given so much to ours by offering a space that is not only academically enriching but also accessible, inclusive, and deeply community-centered.

Children at Brytney’s learn through play, exploration, and outdoor adventures. We believe that learning happens best when children feel safe, seen, and supported—so we foster strong connections within our diverse classroom community, helping children prepare confidently for their next steps in school and life.
