Our Teachers
My name is Precious Barber-Brock. I am the owner and the director of Precious Moments Learning Center A Christ Centered Program. As a wife and mother, my husband and I knew that it would be our obligation to make sure that our legacy built a relationship with God and that as parents we lay a foundation of security for our child(ren).
My motivation to open a learning center is birthed from the idea that education and God don’t have to be separate. After receiving a Masters in Teaching. I worked in the public school system for several years before that I was a preschool teacher for nearly eight years. The goal at Precious Moments Learning Center is help children understand that biblical principles can be linked to world knowledge and that learning whether biblical or world knowledge is quiet, loud, fun, messy, exciting, interesting, and that every person is wonderfully made by God and we all bring something new and exciting when we share our ideas with others.
Philosophy
At Precious Moments Learning Center A Christ Centered Program, our philosophy is to serve children aged 2.5-6 and their families, along with the community, by equipping them with the essentials to thrive within a community of successful individuals where education and God are intertwined. Our approach focuses on providing a curriculum that not only imparts biblical principles tailored for preschoolers but also fosters the development of fundamental skills and knowledge crucial for academic achievement. The center integrates scripture, songs, numbers, colors, alphabet, phonics, and various educational concepts, nurturing children’s minds and encouraging exploration and imaginative growth.

About our program
We equip children for success through prayer, biblical teachings, play, song, world knowledge for elementary success, community support/instruction, and scripture. Children will develop emotionally, spiritually, physically, and mentally with the love of Jesus Christ as their center.
