Our Teachers

Tina M. Evans, Program Director, brings over three decades of experience to Early Childhood Education, holding an Associate’s in Early Child Development and a Bachelor’s in Children and Families. Her diverse background includes roles as Program Director, Pre-School and Kindergarten Teacher, School-aged Transportation Coordinator, and 21st Century Learning Centers Program Coordinator. For Ms. Evans, early childhood education is more than a career; it’s a lifelong passion for educating and positively impacting the lives of children.

Tangarenee Toney, Co-Program Director, I spent the early part of my career in public service. I am a proud owner of several small businesses and I’m excited to use the skills learned to provide a quality childcare program for families. I have taken courses in childhood health and safety. I’m CPR certified. Over the last ten years, I have volunteered at various head start programs. I’m a proud mother of four wonderful boys, that led me to be interested in Early Childhood Development and Education.

Philosophy

At Kid-E-College Prep, we believe learning should be an adventure! We create safe, fun, stimulating, and nurturing environments where children thrive. We’re committed to delivering enriching educational experiences, such as hands-on science experiments, or creative art projects, and the highest quality care.

To further ensure the best care, we believe in prioritizing the continuous professional growth of our staff through regular workshops, seminars, and training programs. This ensures our educators are equipped to address the diverse developmental, emotional, and social needs of every child in our care. In addition to a wonderful learning environment, we believe in fostering a community where every child and family feels valued, respected, and nurtured with love and care.

Most importantly, we believe that these precious early years are crucial for your child’s development. Our goal is to nurture your child’s natural curiosity, inspire a lifelong passion for learning, and help them develop a strong sense of self-worth. We will achieve these goals by providing a play based curriculum, and through the creation of a loving and supportive environment.
