Gail Tiller, Director, Owner. Has been open for 15 years. She had a passion for working with kids just like my mom who was a elementary school teacher here in Detroit. She watched her make a difference in so many kids lives especially her own 7 children. She has a Group Family Childcare Licensed by The State of Michigan for 14 kids. She is a Mandated Reporter. Mandated reporters ae ALWAYS required to report suspected child abuse and neglect to the Department of Human Services (DHS). She has her CPR & First Aid & Infant/Toddler. She attends Behavior classes, Safety/ Child Skill Building, CDA Certification,
Philosophy
Here at IAAYC use Creative Curriculum which is based on learning the alphabets, numbers, colors, shapes, phonics, math, music, language, arts & crafts, social and behavioral skills. We also believe in learning through play.
Location
IAAYC is located on the corner house of Rogge/Milbank. Dropping off and picking up will not cause a traffic jam because we have the side street (Milbank) and the main street (Rogge) plenty of parking space. IAAYC is gated and the lott next door is a park of our property. The backyard is clean, large enough for plenty of play space. IAAYC has a playground surrounded by rubber mulch for protection. We provide helmets for the kids to ride on the tricycles, scooters, and go-carts.
