Lorinda Davis, Director Lorinda is working on an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Henry Ford College. Teaching has always been her passion since a small child. She built herself up for the task throughout her own Early Education by joining various programs such as The Future Teachers of America and Y.E S (Young Educators Society). As an adult, parenting lead me to become actively involved in D.P.N. (Detroit Parent Network). Within this program I held two rewarding positions (1) Secretary and (2) 2013 Detroit Public School Parent Representative, a very prestigious position for a single-working parent. She has always believed a child’s success begins at home with supportive parenting. The teacher aide and promote academic achievement. Together the child obtains all the love tools to succeed.
Location
We are located in the West 7mile and Outer Drive District in a single-family home. There is easy access to D.O.T Services. Our neighborhood Church is the World renowned G.E.I. C.O.G.I.C. Also, there is a newly renovated family friendly park located near Hartford Memorial Baptist Church, sponsored by Former Detroit Piston Dave Bing. The Northwest Activity Center is just a commute away that provides various resources and a MIWorks! Hub for our friends and families within our community.
