Our Teachers
Jennifer Nicholls has a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies and a Master’s degree is Early Childhood Education. She has been teaching preschool for the past 9 years. Ms. Jenn is passionate about early childhood education. She believes a quality early childhood education sets up a child for life success. Her program emphasizes social and emotional learning while also teaching the basics needed to prepare children to enter K successfully. She is a proud mother of 5 beautiful children. She also loves to hike, read, and play music on her piano or ukulele.
Silvana Corbett has over 20 years experience in child care. She is Brazilian and speaks Portuguese with the kids as well as does a singing time in that language. Silvana has earned her 90 hours of childcare certification.
Jamar Myers is our teacher aide. He is full of energy and excitement. It is amazing to have a male represented in early childhood. He is attending University and majoring in Business.

Welcome to Journey Preschool! We are so happy you are joining us this school year. Our philosophy follows the great principles of Maria Montessori.
