Message to All Parents Meet Me/Us:
Having been a working mother of three lovely children in different capacities (as a professional - auditor, customer service officer, e-products officer, marketing officer in a financial Institution), I understand how difficult it is for parents to find quality child care. I feel I have the calling, the grace, love, knowledge, experience, and qualities needed to provide a warm, and loving environment in which children can learn and grow. We believe that your child(ren) are the most important part of our future, and we will work with you to establish the solid foundation children need to feel secure and to provide stability for their future. I take my profession as an ECE/EE & SE, not a “babysitter”, very seriously. You’re trusting us with your most prized possession – your child (a Royal Priesthood & Child of Promise). We do not take this trust lightly. My substitute and I work as a family to delight you! I have the following degrees and certifications (and substitute has as indicated): BSC in Economics ‘2004 & a Post BSC in Information Systems Analyst ‘2015. MSC in Management Information Systems, Class of 2020 (Honors Roll). Pursuing a 2nd BA in Liberal Arts (Education Major) with Triple Certifications in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education and Special Education, Graduation Class of 2022 (on Dean’s List). Member of the Institute of Certified Internal Auditors (CIA). Member of the Golden Key International Honors Society. Received awards for hard-work and Dedication from BSU Presidential Students Leadership Awards in 2017. On the Board membership of the Baltimore County Family Child Care Association (BCFCCA) as Newsletter Editor and Maryland State Family Child Care Association (MSFCCA) where I volunteer during conferences. In addition to these certificates/ programs I have completed numerous hours of training (1,300 Approved Clock Hours and still counting) with MSDE (Basic Health and Safety, Covid19 Training), Abilities Network (Americans With Disabilities Act -ADA), Maryland Think Port (Developmental Screenings Overview) and others (Medication Administration and Emergency Preparedness Plan with Chesapeake College), Signing Made Simple, I take online courses with MSDE and attend many webinars with Teaching Strategies, Maryland ThinkPort and others too. I will continue to take needed classes and workshops to constantly increase my knowledge and skills.

I recommend blessed daycare to any parents looking for a daycare that will give them peace of mind. The owner is doing great job taking care of my child, and getting her paper work up to date. You get updates on your kids activities everyday. I am confortable dropping her off every morning knowing that my child is safe and in a good hand.

Good place to bring your child, my little boy loves it here. my eldest son attended this daycare facility as well and he enjoyed being here. My eldest son wasn’t there long maybe only a year. However he learned a lot even though it took him a little while to adjust to everything. But when we had parent and teacher conference meetings we informed the teacher of how we did things to get out son to focus better and to stay engaged. because he wasn’t diagnosed at first with ADHD at the time but we found out later on during the following year that he had it. and we made sure that his elementary school had all that information and was able to help him with his learning at the new school for him to be successful. However my 6 month old baby boy really loves it there.

The owner has been great to work with, getting my child’s paperwork up to date and talking about her needs and milestones. I feel comfortable dropping her off every morning. They are very communicative and eager to help.

Becoming a mother and then having to find someone to care for my infant gave me much anxiety. My search was endless & Covid did not help because i could not do any in person interviews or tours. Then i came across Blessed Daycare. Ms. Blessed voice was kind, she was patient, & informative from the first phone call. Fast forward to day 1 of care, my baby went to Ms. Blessed and did not cry which made me feel less saddened for having to leave her. Shortly after check-in i was already receiving pictures/text/updates of what my baby has been doing in her care. That in all eased my mind tremendously and helped my transition back to work easier. Her evening hours was a plus as well.

Blessed DayCare lives up to its name. My three children (2 toddler girls and 1 four-month old boy) have been attending daycare since I started back working on 07/13/2020. They absolutely LOVE it! They tell me about what they’ve done throughout the day and they don’t cry when I drop them off (in fact, they cry when I try to take them home lol). I was most afraid for my 4-month old because he’s been so attached to me that I thought he would give Mrs. Blessed a run for her money. But he proved me wrong! He absolutely adores Mrs. Blessed and he has not cried at all to this day! Mrs. Blessed keeps me constantly updated with pictures and messages of what the kids are doing throughout the day using an app that she’ll have you download for communication so I never NOT know what my children are doing at all times. They’ve gone outside, played in the sprinklers, explored as pirates, read stories, cook (pretend cooking of course!), and more amazing things. I would highly recommend sending your child to Mrs. Blessed as she definitely cares about the kids!

My son has recently started going to Blessed Daycare in Owings Mills. He enjoys being there. Ms Bless constantly keeps us informed of his activities by text messages and pictures so we are aware of how he spends his day there. She also helps him while he does his homework, which really gives us with a little extra time to rewind in the evening as these can sometimes be stressful after a hard days work. We give Blessed Daycare a thumbs up!

The provider is very up to date with the curriculum for care education and she gives you at the hour update of your child on activities been engaged in. Plus she pays attention to my child and her needs.

Blessed DayCare is an affordable and high quality daycare program; with flexible schedules that allow parents to choose their own timing and also packages that suite their needs! This is a plus as most programs have fixed hours of care and fixed prices to those hours and are barely affordable in line with the required quality of care that is assumed or necessary for their age groups. This makes Blessed DayCare stand out among all daycare programs in Maryland!

Philosophy
Our onboarding philosophy incorporates STEAM, Bilingual, and Nature-based approaches, emphasizing the importance of love, care, and a safe environment for children’s learning. We also support potty training success when initiated at home. In addition, our program is NAFCC Accredited, Maryland EXCELS Level 5, and Credentialed Level 6. We follow a Play Based Program and offer the ASPIRE PreK Program to ensure that each child thrives in an environment that fosters their development.

We’ve provided information about our philosophies and offerings to help you decide if our program may be right or great fit for your family. Please do not assume that because we are the Highest in Quality at level 5 on Maryland EXCELS, Credential at the Highest Level 6, Accredited with the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC), Restorative Justice System (RJS) Practitioner Program, Member of several Advocacy in Family Child Care and Decision making to Mentor and Lead in Child Care both Locally and Nationally like the Maryland FCC Taskforce, NEA/MSEA - Women Leadership Training Cohort (WLT), CCRCBC @ Abilities Network Project ACT (All Children Together), NAEYC/MDAEYC, MSFCCA/BCFCCA, and winner of several awards in Excellence and Leadership from Bowie State University Presidential Student’s Leadership Awards and Graduating twice on Deans/Honors Roll from BA in Early Childhood, Elementary Education and Special Education and MSC. in Management Information Systems (MIS), that we are the best fit for your child as our program is very unique and child centered with building brain and developing the whole child from Early Childhood through Elementary to Middle School. We care for the forgotten and the most vulnerable in our community including our Service Officers in the Military, Navy, Air Force etc. and we would help you locate grant opportunities and Scholarship so you end up paying little or $0 out of pocket fee for our Highest Quality program if your family qualifies for these services. Do not assume that because you can afford our published fee/tuition that our program is best fit for you and your family as this Child Care is a Ministry, A Passion and A Calling. Please do not bring your child to our program if you do not intend to follow our Structured Policies as We would easily have to terminate Child Care for You if We noticed You disrespect our program Rules, Policies and Procedures!

2. Tour our Program
Come see what makes Blessed DayCare unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future. We would conduct an initial phone interview with all prospective families before you can submit an application form.
3. Submit an Enrollment Application Form
If you would like to enroll your child or children in Blessed DayCare, kindly review our Parent Copy of Blessed DayCare Family Handbook at www.blessed-daycare.com under “About Us” including the Addendums, submit an application form at www.blessed-daycare.com and click on “About Us” to submit Blessed DayCare Application Form and submit interest form to ease onboarding within 24-72 hours at www.wonderschool.com/blessed-day-care-7648/apply and pay application fee at www.blessed-daycare.com click on “About Us” then scroll to “Add to cart” under “Application Fee” to pay Application Fee per child to schedule your tour appointment or click on this direct link to PayPal; https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr to Pay your Child’s Application Fee – note that we require tours for all prospective families (virtual tour and an optional in-person tour). Please do not submit a Registration Form if you have not visited the program and paid Application Fees to schedule a tour appointment. 4. Enroll/Register
After reviewing your application, we’ll extend an enrollment/registration invitation to you by inviting you to a tour appointment. Upon completion of your tour appointment you’ll pay your child’s annual enrollment/registration fee, fill out enrollment documents and sign an acknowledgment copy of our Parent Copy of Blessed DayCare Family Handbook, Addendums and other Registration Documents with the Checklist along with initial tuition payment. All documents need to be reviewed for correctness 24-48 hours before your child or children’s resumption date! We operate a flexible schedule program that you choose your timing that best suite your family and we provide services within that time for your child and family within your signed contract and you can update your contract if your family situation changes at any time, we are accessible/flexible, affordable and we are highest in quality in Maryland and across the USA (we continue to improve and upgrade our program every day). We will not exceed 14 hours any day as this is the maximum hours approved by MSDE OCC under COMAR Regulations! Enroll/Register your child now and you would be glad you did!
