Testimonials
Darlene, we wanted to say thank you for the past three years for taking such great care of our sons. Matt & Kendra
Thank You! For all that you have done for our son for the past 2.5 years. Thank you for keeping him happy, healthy, safe, and loved. He is well adjusted and I’m confident you helped him become that way. Thank you also for being flexible and not making a big deal out of his hearing impairment. That means more to us than words can express. Kathy & Matt
Ms. Darlene, thank you so much for everything you do to take such good care of our son! We are grateful that you are able to help us during our time of need and so happy that our little guy has such a wonderful 1st teacher! We can’t thank you enough! Sincerely, Maggie & Freddie
Our oldest child, a beautiful 7-year-old, is enrolled in full-time school, but often has days off. As such, we needed to find care for those sporadic days when my husband and I could not justifiably use a sick day to stay home with her. Enter Ms. Darlene, owner, and director of Kiddy Kare. We absolutely love Kiddy Kare, and that is saying much! Our 7-year-old does not walk or talk, she scoots and screams, and smiles. She uses a G-tube for most of her food intake because eating is physically taxing for her. Most daycares either could not or would not accommodate us. None of the bothered Ms. Darlene, who is professional, kind, and forthcoming about her policies and procedures in her daycare. For the first time since our girl was a baby-faced preschooler, we found the help we needed. Caring for a child with special/other needs is especially difficult when they grow taller and heavier, lose those chubby cheeks and yet still require diapering, gentle handling, interaction, and help with playing and moving. We are so pleased with how Ms. Darlene cares for children, cares for our daughter, and sheds grace on us when we have a sudden need for childcare. She is vigilant and well prepared. She takes the time to feed her a stage 3 baby food meal, which I can assure you is NOT an easy task. Ciona is always happy, clean, and nourished when we pick her up at the end of the day and it means the world to us to have Kiddy Kare close by! Nicole & Delace
It is my pleasure to recommend Ms. Darlene’s Kiddy Kare Child Care. Ms. Darlene was a great daycare provider to our little son. She is excellent at facilitating cognitive growth and development in infants and toddlers. My 20-month-old little boy attending Ms. Darlene’s daycare at 15 months old. Over the months my boy made significant improvements across the board, especially with regards to his social skills, communication skills, and his fine motor skills, which were below par before he started with Ms. Darlene. He is more outgoing, less afraid of different environments, and more communicative. Ms. Darlene is also nurturing and kind, while still maintaining discipline and gaining the utmost respect of the children in her care. She has an organized schedule which includes education, indoor playtime, outside time, storytime, lunch, snack, and nap time. I highly recommend Ms. Darlene. I would not hesitate to place my son in her care should the need arise in the near future. Regards, M. S. Tallon
We are more than happy to recommend Darlene Abraham as a Child Care Provider. Darlene began caring for our daughter when she was 3 months old and has been our Child Care Provider for over a year. Our daughter is very fond of her - and the other children seem very happy to be with Ms. Darlene as well. Each day when our daughter is picked up, Darlene is glad to update us on her day and let us know how she has been doing. Darlene is a licensed provider and we have always felt that our daughter is safe with her. Darlene participated in the Maryland Child and Adult Care Food Program, which we are grateful for. The program provides our food needs on a daily basis, so there is no need for us to provide a snack or lunch. Darlene has been sensitive to our daughter’s special dietary needs as well. We are thankful that Darlene has taken such an active role in caring for our needs and making sure she gets plenty of exercise. Darlene is exceptional with all of the children she cares for and would make an excellent child care provider for your family. Sincerely, Samantha & Gregory
