Welcome to our childcare website! Our founder and lead caregiver, Effat, has over 25 years of experience in the childcare industry. Effat has a passion for teaching and creating a nurturing environment for children to grow and learn.

As a responsible caregiver, Effat has obtained CPR and first aid certifications to ensure the safety of the children under their care. In addition, Effat has a unique skill set that allows them to teach children American Sign Language, which can help children develop communication skills at an early age.

For families interested in exploring different languages and cultures, Effat is also able to introduce children to Farsi and Persian languages. This allows children to expand their horizons and gain a deeper understanding of different cultures.

At our childcare center, we believe in providing a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun. We strive to create a positive experience for both children and parents. We look forward to the opportunity to care for your child and provide a nurturing environment where they can flourish.In addition to English, I also teach children American Sign Language and can expose them to Farsi and Persia languages (however, my daycare is not a bilingual program)

About our program

Effat’s Wonderschool, located in Germantown, MD, has been providing high-quality care to children for 24 years. With a play-based approach, Effat’s Wonderschool provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

One of the unique features of Effat’s Wonderschool is the emphasis on language learning. In addition to the standard English language instruction, Effat’s Wonderschool also teach American Sign Language (ASL), which is a valuable skill for children to learn as it can enhance communication and empathy. Additionally, We also offer the opportunity for children to be exposed to Farsi and Persian languages, which can expand their understanding of different cultures and provide a foundation for future language learning.

Effat’s Wonderschool offers after-school care for parents who work late, allowing them peace of mind knowing that their children are in a safe and engaging environment. Additionally, drop-in care is available for parents who need occasional care for their children.

The play-based approach of your program means that children are encouraged to learn through exploration and hands-on experiences. Your team of experienced and caring teachers provide guidance and support, while also allowing children the freedom to discover and learn at their own pace.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/-10848 – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
