Fun and loving environment. I sent my two girls to Josephine, and it has been 3 years since they are under care of Josephine. They now can speak Chinese and English frequently, but not to forget their first language Vietnamese. The daycare is clean, Josephine is master chef, she cooks great food, low fat, low sodium. I feel safe and happy at work while sending my two girls to Choo Choo’s Learning Child care

My little girl has been attending Choo Choo’s Learning Child Care. From day one, she has felt comfortable and a part of the family. I feel like I have developed some beautiful friendships with the teacher as well as other Kids members. If you decide to bring your child here, you will not be disappointed.
They have a nice playground that the kids love playing on when it is nice outside and a large open room to run around in when it is raining or too cold to be outside. Along with the day-to-day activities, they are always doing special things around the holidays for the kids/parents (Christmas program, valentines, etc). I honestly could go on and on about all the ways Choo Choo’s learning is a phenomenal daycare… but most importantly, I don’t have to question what type of care my girls are getting. I know in my absence they are being loved, nurtured, comforted, and allowed to grow, learn, and explore in a warm and caring environment…. every day. Patricia

I know I found the right child care when my boy is always happy and often refuse to go home with me. Jo’s time is flexible, and she is always there when I need someone to take care of my child during weekend. You have no idea how many time she was there for me. She also speak Chinese, if you looking for a loving Asian family child care look no further.

The child care that my baby has received from Josephine has been amazing. She treats my son like her own grandchild, and I know he enjoys his time there by the way he always wants to stay. My son was there since he was eight months old, and he really loved playing with the other kids. The daycare is always clean and immaculate. Josephine makes very good food for the kids. She also goes above and beyond to accommodate our schedules as healthcare workers, and loves our son. We are very comfortable there and are so happy we found her. Before we enrolled, we were given the forms, daycare manual and contract. It was very clear with what was expected of us as parents and also outlined the daycare’s rules and schedule. I would happily recommend Josephine and her daycare to any parent that wants excellent care for their children. The child care that my baby has received from Josephine has been amazing. After visiting and calling several home daycares, I was getting worried I wouldn’t find the right place for my child. And then I was recommended to Josephine. When we arrived, my daughter immediately took to her. She was clear about a day in her daycare. Her home was emaculate and clean. Her personality made me genuinely comfortable for the first time after so many options. I would 100% recommend Josephine. She is clear, flexible and a good person. It upsets me as a parent that someone gave her a bad review over money that is very clearly stated in the contract. While it’s not my business, it is bothersome as Josephine is the last person who deserves such a review. Thank you Josephine for all you do to care for our children. Truly. Jenny
★★ Xiang Shu 4 months ago The business owner deceived me and refused to refund the two weeks deposit. If you don’t want your children to be taken cared by someone who are willing to lie to get money, then do not send your children there. Please take down photos with my child’s face on your social media within 24 hours, I am not comfortable about this. Thanks. Response to your reply: 1. Your agreement we signed never says parents should pay for your PTO after termination. (To avoid future conflicts and confusion with other parents, I suggest you to add this on your agreement) 2. Google reviews are for customers to share their experiences with others. I won’t call this harassment.
Response from the owner to Xian Shu 4 months ago It is regrettable that we could not resolve this issue amicably. The two weeks deposit is supposed to cover the cost of PTO in the event that PTO wasn’t used before the end of the year. I do not wish to re-litigate this online. Your family has been in our child care for three years. We have been nothing less than hospitable to your family. It is sad that it has to end this way. It has been difficult to keep this child care said running amidst COVID-19. You have already filed a baseless complaint with the Office of Child Care. I plead to you and your family to stop harassing my child care.

Amazing work she does with the kids!
Philosophy
Our onboarding philosophy emphasizes that play is crucial for the cognitive development of early-age children. By actively engaging in play, children construct knowledge and explore the world around them. They progress through Piaget’s stages, starting with the sensorimotor stage and transitioning into the preoperational stage, where they learn to use symbols to represent objects. Through play experiences, children develop their cognitive abilities, which play a significant role in their early development. Our main objective is to address key elements and issues related to families, diversity, and differences.
We also believe that play is essential for children to encounter and adapt to new ideas and objects. Through play, children learn about themselves and the world, developing physical skills, confidence, social skills, language skills, and cognitive abilities. Engaging in free play allows children to choose activities spontaneously, focusing on enjoyment rather than the end result. Children actively immerse themselves in various roles during play, mastering empathy, social skills, and building a positive self-concept. Play is seen as every child’s work, providing valuable skills that prepare them for the future.
In our program, we strive to create a balanced learning environment with child-centered activities, developmentally age-appropriate materials, and secure facilities. We focus on nurturing the whole child, enhancing their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive/language development. Family involvement is integral to our program, enriching children’s understanding of the world through diverse experiences. Rest assured that while your child is in our care, they will be cherished, kept safe, and supported in their development.

About our program
We encourage children to learn through a balance of pre-literacy and numeracy activities, structured free choice, and hands-on experiences to develop a strong sense of pride in their achievements and experience the joy of learning and discovery. Our programs focus on the development of the whole child by enhancing the child’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional skills. Children explore their world through the environment, use of manipulative, strong academic programming, active play, and nurturing guidance.
Our program does not discriminate in providing services to children and their families on the basis of race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, marital status, or sexual orientation. Children are not required to be toilet trained to attend.
