Philosophy
Miss Muffett’s Early Learning Center welcomes children of all abilities (including those with special health care needs and disabilities). Miss Muffett’s Early Learning Center believes that each child can only grow to their fullest potential by knowing that they are loved, respected and full of self-worth. Every child needs boundaries, support, and opportunities to learn to be the best they can be. Miss Melissa strives to help children discover themselves and the world around them. Miss Melissa gets to know you and your child so she may provide that family atmosphere. This allows the daycare to be an extension of your family. She incorporates things from the primary language, culture and background along incorporating the interests of your child into daily lessons. This makes learning fun and interesting for everyone. By using music, books, fine and gross motor toys and activities, Miss Melissa makes learning seem like lots of play. Miss Melissa has a curriculum that encourages your child to reach developmental and physical goals. With daily communications, home and daycare will be in sync so that your child will have the consistency they need to feel supported and loved.
