Our Teachers
Nicole Bastfield has been working in child care for over eight years. She holds an associates degree in early childhood development, teacher education. She also holds a CDA certification issued by The National Council of Professional Development.
Philosophy
I believe that as a teacher and educator my primary purpose is to create and facilitate an environment that nurtures the student and imparts knowledge through methods of indirect instruction. I believe that it is my duty to create fun experiences that will engage the children in cooperative, problem-based learning. It is through these authentic experiences that I believe children will truly learn and retain the lessons being placed before them.
