Ms. Nyisha is the Director and Sole Proprietor of GiftedHandsBrilliantMinds LLC. Family Child Care. Ms. Nyisha is a retired Correctional Officer who also is Certified Medical assistant, Phlebotomist, Peer recovery Supervisor and a certified ASL instructor.

GiftedHandsBrilliantMindsLLC Family Childcare is located Maryland on the East Side Of Baltimore City. GHBM LLC offers Before & After School Care , BIWEEKLY childcare , Tutorial services and is NON DISCRIMINATORY. Children of all ethnicities and or physical/social/emotional /mental and learning dynamics are welcomed . Children are taught collectively to enhance cohesive behavior in which develops character and social skills however each child is assessed on an individual basis for the distinction between strengths and areas that are still developing academically.”Child Care Philosophy Family child care in a “home like” setting is the best alternative there is for working parents. A safe environment A nurturing environment A learning environment… Learning is not necessarily the ABC’s and 123’s, but is also the learning of values. The learning of honesty, respect, self–reliance, and potential, self-discipline, and moderation, the values of being; dependable, love, acquiring sensitivity to others feelings, kindness, friendliness and fairness are the values of becoming a moral human being .

A proper approach to discipline… Since children occasionally need discipline, it is important that you an important that you and I share a similar philosophy so that your child is not too confused as to where the boundaries are and what is expected of him/her. Children are taught which behaviors are inappropriate, and why, children are given alternatives that are acceptable. In this manner, the behavior is being changed, without making the child feel “bad” or unloved. There are no stigmas placed upon any child in my care This helps develop their self-esteem and teaches them how to handle difficult situations themselves in the future without exuding violence. I express my disapproval (without attaching character). I state my expectations and show your child how to make amends. I give choices, and in extreme situations a child may be given a “Time To Reflect & Decompress”; because at times a child may be having trouble making choices of their own and they just may need a couple of minutes to calm down and think about their choices.

Gifted Hands Brilliant Minds LLC is a Licensed Family Child care that teaches the introduction of the spanish language and the American Sign Language. I believe what also makes GHBM LLC. so unique is the nurturing that is exuded towards all children and families entrusted in My care. There is a standard of moral compass and humanity embodied amongst the Parents and I as the Provider. Schedule a visit with GHBM LLC on a SATURDAY Come see what makes GiftedHandsBrilliantMinds LLC unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
