Hello! I am Stephanie White, the founder of Kiddie Kare Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. I have 33 years of experience working with young children. We are very much a family based program, in fact, my sister, Pearl, is my lovely assistant. Family is everything, and we consider your family apart of ours.

Philosophy

At Kiddie Kare Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn and prosper feeling safe, loved and educated. Our goal is to provide an environment that makes children feel welcome and at home, and to offer them a safe and secure environment where they feel protected and happy, through adequate attention to all their biological, emotional, and social needs. In our program, children will feel truly cared for and protected. We believe that children should feel free and be able to explore the entire space.

Location

Kiddie Kare Wonderschool is located in a spacious, welcoming townhouse in the Hyde Park neighborhood.

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).

At Kiddie Kare Wonderschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

About our program

At Kiddie Kare, our services go beyond providing daycare. We are committed to providing a high quality program that not only supports, but extends the family. We believe in nurturing our children to foster development in all developmental domains. Children will be encouraged to explore their fine & gross motor, verbal & language, social & emotional, as well as cognitive skills. Our staff is dedicated to learning each child and providing daily activities to build on their strengths and improve other areas of development.

Kiddie Kare is a play-based program. Here, play is valued and seen as a path for children to master skills that will be the beginning of their educational foundation.

Our goal is to facilitate development of positive self-esteem. With this, we believe all of our children will be ready to enter their next phase with a positive attitude towards learning. To do this, Kiddie Kare will aid in expanding each child’s awareness and knowledge of the outside world.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/kiddie-kare-wonderschool-5704/apply – Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
