Our Teachers
Kim Baugh, Director Kim graduated from St. Mary of the Woods College in 2020 with a Bachlors of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has owned and operated Kimmies Kids for over 28 years. Her favorite thing is the relationships she makes with the children and families. More staff are employed to make sure each child’s needs are taken care of. This ensures that our team can know each child and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in early education.
Philosophy
At our school, we strive to create a safe and caring community for our little learners. Our program is a place that children can explore and learn through doing, invent through making and solve problems by working together.
We strive to engage each child. Our team of experienced teachers do this by creating an environment driven by the interests and ideas of the children.
Location
We are a single family home located on a quiet street. We have a large enclosed outdoor play space.
We are located close to our public library. This makes for a great working relationship with the library and all of the resources they offer.
About our program
At our school, we teach concepts of math, science, engineering, art, social studies and early literacy throughh play-based, child-led curriculum. We offer parent conferences twice a year, and we always have an open door policy.
