Our Teachers
My husband and I are the owners and operators for now. I have my associates degree in Early Childhood Education and plan to continue my education once we find experienced staff to fulfill the needs of our future doctors and lawyers. My husband and I have 12 children and 2 grandchildren, it is our passion to help families in every way and help provide healthy growth mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Philosophy
At Nellybell’s University, we believe that play is the fundamental building block of a child’s early education. Our philosophy centers around providing a play-based learning program that fosters holistic development and a love for lifelong learning.
We recognize that children learn best when they are actively engaged and motivated. Play is the natural way in which children explore their surroundings, make sense of the world, and construct their own knowledge. Through play, children develop a wide range of skills, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical abilities.
In our play-based approach, we create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to freely express themselves, interact with their peers, and engage in purposeful play. Our classrooms are designed to inspire curiosity and creativity, offering a variety of open-ended materials and activities that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and imaginative exploration.

About our program
Our program is play based and help our early learners become Kindergarten ready. We go on great field trips to the Indianapolis Zoo, Children’s Museum, skating and more; all paid by our program. We teach our children about the Word of God and to embrace their heritage. We except all!
