Veronica Adegboyega
Veronica has over 3 years of childcare experience which includes working at a certified daycare and taking care of children one-on-one. Veronica is CDA-certified in early childhood development. Veronica wanted to become a daycare Director because of her love for children and seeing them go off and become better people. Veronica strives to provide a community-based learning environment so that children will never have to feel alone.

Our program is all about children learning in a safe environment and being able to know and talk about what they learned when they get home. Maryjay strives to make sure that every child that attends is well-fed, safe, and most important of all happy to be in an environment where they want to learn.

The home daycare is in a suburban area where there is little to no noise. The lawns are kept clean and animals are kept within the vicinity of their homes. The daycare has a gate in the backyard where children are free to play under adult supervision when the temperature is warm enough. The nearest school is Robey Elementary and there is a park about a 30-minute walk from the neighborhood.

In my childcare facility, I want to focus on getting children excited about learning and encouraging them to know more about what they’re doing. I want the children to be welcomed into my daycare regardless of what their background is or what might be going on in their lives. My home will make sure to cater to every child’s needs as well as to make sure that they are in a safe learning environment. Children will have access to everything that they need to be successful. At my daycare, we encourage playfulness and kindness to make sure that the children of tomorrow are ready for anything the world throws at them.
