Norma Gonzalez is the Director of Colors Daycare and Preschool. Norma has over 15 years of experience working with K-6 in the Cassia and Minidoka school districts and has 3 kids of her own, as well as 3 grandkids.
In working with Kindergarteners in school, Norma noticed how students who had a strong Preschool start were better prepared and had an easier time assimilating to the Kindergarten learning. With this experience, she became passionate about starting a Preschool of her own and decided to start Colors Daycare and Preschool in 2023.
Philosophy
We believe that every child at any age can learn, from babies and older. For this reason, we incorporate a developmental, daily routine for each student, which means we meet the individual student where they are and work on tasks, activities, and learning that will help them meet their milestones and needs.
Location
Colors Daycare and Preschool is off of the north side of the railroads, about 3 blocks from Paul Elementary School and by Dellis Potato Plant.
About our program
Colors Daycare and Preschool will be opening up in August 2023 under Norma Gonzalez, the Director. The center follows a play-based, developmental philosophy and teachers will adapt to the student’s learning needs and capabilities.
For tuition, the rate is broken down by full time, afterschool, or daily rate (fully day).
Preschool will be 1 hour a day included in the daily rate fee. Preschool will also have a different, more specific lesson plan each week.
We also offer an After School Program with a daily or a 4-day/week rate. There is transportation available from the schools to the daycare.
