Philosophy
Our onboarding philosophy emphasizes providing multiple experiences and encouraging creativity based on each child’s individual interests. Additionally, our mission is to nurture children’s healthy heart, soul, mind, and body, manifested through our love for God, families, and staff, as well as by creating a safe and enriching environment for all. Through teaching Bible truths in age-appropriate ways, we aim to grow disciples among the children in our care. Our holistic approach focuses on fostering curiosity and exploration in a STEAM-based, nature-focused Christian preschool and childcare setting for children aged 13 months to 5 years. Staff members act as guides to promote children’s development across social, physical, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive domains through play, communication, and curiosity-driven learning experiences. Bible teachings are integrated into classroom activities and weekly Chapel meetings, complementing the hands-on, play-based approach guided by our STEAM curriculum, Learning Beyond Paper, to ensure children are well-prepared for future formal education.

About our program
XrossWay KidzWorld is a Christian program and ministry of XrossWay LifeChurch.
XrossWay Kidz World is a STEAM based, nature focused preschool and childcare for ages 13-month to 5-years. We have homey feeling rooms where children are encouraged to be curious and explore their world. Our program gives children a solid base of learning which will prepare them for their future. We believe that children need to learn through play and hands-on activities. They learn while exploring and having a variety of experiences both indoors and outdoors.
The environment is all part of the curriculum. We have furniture and fixtures at their level so they can learn to be independent and self-reliant. The rooms have items available for children to explore as they choose. Our students are allowed to play with items that encourage risk and wonder and are involved in what they are learning through their interests. We have an outside area that entices the children to be curious and explore as well as to build confidence in their abilities promoting healthy development of heart, soul, mind, and body. Children spend time outdoors every day because we believe it is vital for their development.
Every staff member is required to have a criminal history and background check clearance. They take the initial 12 hours of training through IdahoSTARS and continue to receive regular professional development either through IdahoSTARS or other sources. Every staff member keeps a current pediatric CPR and first aid certification.
We have weekly chapel times that families are encouraged to attend. This aide in fostering the relationships between home, school and church. XrossWay LifeChurch and XrossWay Kidz World take pride in caring for the students, families and staff.
We use Wonderschool for our intake process, to keep parents informed about their children and for invoicing. Parents will also receive regular monthly newsletters keeping them up to date on what is happening at XrossWay Kidz World.
Our program is offered Monday through Friday from 7:15 am to 5:30 pm.
