Our Teachers

I began working in the field just after high school and have not looked back. This preschool is based out of my home and I am the only employee. I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and almost 30yrs experience working in the field of ECE. Teaching preschool is my life’s passion and I truly love what I do.

Philosophy

At our childcare facility, we believe in the power of play as the cornerstone of children’s development. Through play, children enhance their social and emotional skills, physical abilities, cognitive functions, and imaginative capacities. Additionally, we prioritize creating a safe and loving community where every child is embraced for their unique qualities. Our approach involves empowering children to make choices, take responsibility, and follow through on their decisions. We provide an enriching environment with a curriculum focused on early math and literacy skills, ensuring continuous growth and development throughout the year.

Location

I am located in a quiet neighborhood on the west side of town near an elementary school, a middle school and a high school. I am just 2-3 minutes from HWY 20 and the I-15 Broadway exit. I am in a cute little house on the corner and a privacy fence in the back yard with plenty of room for the children to run and play when we are outside.

About our program

At Little Wonders I strive to give each child the best head start to kindergarten. I offer a curriculum that offers a great array of skills across the learning board; math, science, social emotional, early literacy, social studies, and much more. I offer parent teacher conferences, screenings, assessments, and build portfolios for each child throughout the year. I also offer educational parent meetings and family engagement activities.
