Our Teachers

Our teachers focus is on creating positive and meaningful interactions with the children and fostering the children’s interactions with each other. Our curriculum is planned and prepped by our Director so that our teachers have plenty of opportunities to interact with the children in their classes. Several of our teachers have been in Early Childhood for 5+ years. We believe that there is always something to learn, so our teacher training is ongoing.

Philosophy

Our philosophy emphasizes that children learn best through play, with a focus on building successful and respectful relationships. Concepts are developmentally appropriate and a mix of teacher and child-directed activities. Additionally, we believe in the interaction of adults to enhance the learning experience. Our curriculum and classrooms offer developmentally appropriate activities tailored to each age group, aiming to prepare children for school. We are dedicated to supporting the development of cognitive, physical, and social-emotional skills essential for successful learners.

Location

We are a ministry of Trinity Assembly of God and just down the street from the new Fruitland Park Elementary School that is being built.

About our program

We believe that children are a precious gift from God. As a result, we seek to lay a foundation of faith and a love of learning. We teach by activities, and through example, that Jesus is God, that He loves us, and that the Bible tells us about Jesus. No matter what a child accomplishes in their lives, the most important is a relationship with Jesus. We also want to encourage in the children a love of learning. Children are naturally curious about everything! We seek to foster that curiosity into a love of learning, through a balance of teacher-directed and child-directed activities, and through creating an environment that encourages purposeful exploration and discovery.
