Hello! I am Jenique Johnson, the founder of Ruby Heart Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. Before opening my own program, I worked as a Kindergarden and Pre-School teacher. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and I hope to create an environment where every child can flourish!
Philosophy
At Ruby Heart Wonderschool, we are a licensed large childcare which offers a safe, stable and nurturing environment. Our focus is on the development of the whole child, emotionally, socially while providing the attention, education and care your child deserves.
Location
Ruby Heart Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, beautiful single family home in Vallejo. We are conveniently located right off of Highway 80, and very close to Wardlaw Elementary and Vallejo Charter.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), art area (for expressing emotions and ideas), and dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday at mix of both my private yard and local parks and playgrounds. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth.
At Ruby Heart Wonderschool, I want to provide a loving home away from home.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you would like to enroll, please submit an application Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
4. Enroll
After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
