My name is Lusine Muradyan. I am the owner and provider at Wonder Dreams Family Child Care located in Sun Valley, California. As a daughter of an Awarded Preschool Teacher, I have been taking care of and in the assistance to teaching process since my childhood. Later I got my Bachelor Degree in Pedagogy and Teaching Languages. As time flew, I became a mother of two wonderful daughters with time gap of eight years in between. So, I got a chance to apply all technics of upbringing children of different age on my own experience. Having a huge experience of working with different age children (almost all my life) determined me to share the same within my community and start my own day care home. I believe the environment where kids can learn to respect themselves and each other is very important for a growing child. This is the reason why I created nurturing atmosphere where they can get social, emotional skills, play and learn as most life imperative skills are developed through children play. Parent-teacher collaboration is also very important to better understand the inner world of the child which will contribute to more effective learning experiences. Communication is the key.

Philosophy

In our childcare facility, children are not things to be molded but are people to be unfolded. It is highly believed that every child is happy when understood and heard, leading to openness to the environment, discovering the interesting world around them through play. Our play-based philosophy focuses on children learning social, cognitive, and emotional skills by exploring new environments and experiences. The environment is responsive to the children in our care, allowing their own interests to facilitate learning and engagement processes.

WONDER DREAMS FAMILY CHILD CARE is located in a picturesque cul de sac area in Sun Valley, California away from traffic which contributes to fresh air in the facility premises and also ensures safety drop off and pick up process.

There is a plenty of parking place any time of the day so as parents could take their time and make a stressless stop to reunite with their kids after a hard work day.

About our program

WONDER DREAMS Family Child Care is a play based program. Ages 0-12 are welcome! While we work with different age groups all the environments are homogenous. Little ones learn according to their program on their own pace but also from elders while elders are busy with their age appropriate activities (like free play, role play, homework, reading (often elders read to little ones), outdoor sport games, etc). We combine learning experience and physical activities on fresh air to get best result in age appropriate educational program. We also work on fine and gross motor skills development through creative activities, arts, crafts, building, construction materials and a lot more.
The program is balanced having free play, play based program with offering academic curriculum for all ages. We take pride in preparing kids for school and helping them gain confidence in caring environment. The staff has appropriate education in Early Childhood and speaks three languages: Armenian, Russian, English.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
