Hello! I am Isabel, the founder of Teach Me Daycare. With a degree in Early Childhood Education and over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages I have always had a passion and talent for the care and development of children from a young age. Building relationships with families in need of quality childcare in my community and watching children change and grow as they learn something new everyday is ultimately the best part of each day that I get to do what I do. My passion for the nurturing of child development has been the inspiration behind starting my very own program. One that provides the high- quality care and play-based bilingual immersive environment that encourages children to express their curiosity, open their minds, and aim for the stars!

Before finding Teach Me Daycare, we tried multiple daycare options for our daughter, but none of them felt right. She was hesitant every morning, and it was a struggle to get her to go. That completely changed with Isabel—our daughter was excited to go to daycare every day! Now that she’s moving on to elementary school, we’re incredibly grateful for the strong foundation Isabel provided. The school sent us a list of skills she needed to know before starting, including recognizing letters, shapes, and writing her name, and we’re thrilled to say that Isabel taught her well. She can spell and write both her first and last name, recognizes all her letters, and has learned so much more.
Beyond academics, the daycare offers a great balance of activities—lots of arts and crafts, plenty of outdoor playtime, and no screen time, which we really appreciate. Our daughter even picked up some Spanish! And it’s not just her—our son is also at Teach Me Daycare, and they helped potty train him, which was a huge help for us.
On top of everything, Isabel is kind, understanding, and truly dedicated to the children in her care. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Teach Me Daycare!
Philosophy
With 23 years of experience, at Teach Me Daycare our priority is to care for and educate children of a wide range of ages through hands-on, fun filled lessons in both english and spanish. With our large outdoor play area and immersive activities, we provide ample space opportunity for children to express themselves both creatively and socially in a loving, safe and nurturing environment.
Location
This program is located in a safe and tranquil single-family neighborhood in South San Francisco. complete with an amazing outdoor space available for children to run, jump and play! Our care program is designed with age appropriate activities and play areas in mind to ensure a safe and fun learning and playtime experience. A loving and fun home away from home is what we at Teach Me Daycare wish to provide to each and every little happy face!
About our program
With over 20 years of experience, Teach Me Daycare is a play-based, Bilingual immersive program. Children develop their language skills in both english and spanish regardless of their primary language. Our play-based program is designed to help children gain knowledge through fun and nurturing lessons that satisfy their curiosity and encourage them to explore the wonders of the world.We understand that at this important developmental stage, it is loving, responsive relationships based on mutual respect and communication that are the building blocks to a positive learning experience. Your child will have the opportunity to explore, grow, create and, build relationships with their peers as they become confident learners for future adventures.

2. Tour our program
Come see what makes Teach Me Daycare & Wonderschool unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.
3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
4. Enroll
After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
