CRISTINA CROWTHER, DIRECTOR

I ENJOY BEING ABLE TO TEACH AND DO ART WITH CHILDREN. I GRADUATED COLLEGE IN MEXICO WITH A DEGREE OF COMPUTER SCIENCE IN 1993. I CAME FROM MY COUNTRY IN 1995 AND WENT TO PIERCE COLLEGE FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. THEN IN 2012 I GRADUATED FROM CULINARY SCHOOL. THE IDEA OF BECOMING A GOURMET CHEF IT WAS TO COOK THE BEST FOR MY DAYCARE AND FAMILY. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT SMALL CLASS SIZE AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF A STRONG COMMUNITY ALLOW ME AND MY TEAM TO REALLY KNOW EACH CHILD AS AN INDIVIDUAL AND TO PROVIDE A SOLID AND SUPPORTIVE FOUNDATION IN THE EARLY YEARS.

Philosophy

At SafetyCare Family Child Care, we ensure a safe, fun, and learning environment for your child, reflecting a balance of professionalism and love. Our child care philosophy is centered around individualized care, nurturing relationships, play-based learning, holistic development, inclusivity, family partnership, and continuous improvement. We aim to create a nurturing and enriching atmosphere where every child feels valued, safe, and inspired to learn and grow.
