Our Teachers

Lead Teacher Sandra Choi has operated preschools and children’s academies in the Santa Clara area for the past 30 years and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from UC Davis and an M.Div. from Princeton Seminary. She has also completed an Early Childhood Education program and has accumulated extensive experience in children’s education and guidance.

Philosophy

The early years of a child’s life are the ideal time to build a strong foundation for learning, personal growth, and positive social relationships.

While we believe that play is an essential part of every child’s daily experience, we also recognize the importance of intentional teaching through hands-on, engaging, and relationship-centered learning.

Our program is designed to provide each child with individualized attention and guidance by fostering close, caring relationships with teachers, caregivers, and peers. Through age-appropriate, yet challenging activities, meaningful stories, and character-building experiences, we encourage children to be kind, fair, and respectful, and to make thoughtful choices that benefit both themselves and others.
