Our Teachers

Hello! I am Claudia Rauda, the founder of Raulda’s Childcare Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. I have 12 years of experience working with young children.

This is a family run business and we are very proud to support our community. I am the mother of three boys who always keep me on my toes. Their ages are 14, 10 and 5. Our family is originally from Guatemala.

Philosophy

At Rauda’s Childcare Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished.

At Rauda’s Childcare we follow monthly themes to encourage exploration, collaboration and creativity. We aim to hold weekly activities the tie back to our monthly theme.

Location

Raulda’s Childcare Wonderschool is located in a charming, spacious single family home in the San Rafael neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth.

At Raulda’s Childcare Wonderschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

Come see what makes Raulda’s Childcare Wonderschool unique. Please schedule a tour or attend an Open House event.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
