Teresa Castro, Director has been a licensed provider since 2017. Prior to being licensed I cared for both of my grandchildren while my daughter worked and went to school. I’m happy that my daughter is now a part of my daycare and we strive to provide the best care possible. We are both First aid/CPR certified and continue to grow in child development by attending classes.
About our program
My name is Teresa Castro, and I am a licensed daycare provider in San Mateo. Castro’s Daycare is a home based daycare, serving children 0-5 years old. We offer children a nurturing and loving environment that’s just like home. At our home daycare, our goal is to help children learn important social, emotional, and behavioral skills that ensure they reach their developmental milestones. We focus on a variety of Developmental Play-based activities to offer a diverse education which fosters a love of learning. We offer programs for a wide variety of ages from 0 months to 5 years. At our daycare, we provide a culturally diverse learning environment by offering programs in Spanish. We look forward to hearing from you! If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.
- Submit an Enrollment Application If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
