Our Teachers

Hello! I am Agueda Rivas, the founder of SFO Childcare Services Inc. . I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 18 years of experience working with young children.

I also have a daughter of my own that runs her own program in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Philosophy

At SFO Childcare Services Inc. , we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that makes children feel welcomed and at home. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished.

My goal is to provide an atmosphere of family care where we strive for children to be socially secure, happy and confident. They are able to feel proud of their achievements, to learn to be independent and recognize emotions. Overall, our goal is to assist students in developing a positive attitude of respect and acceptance with everyone in the community regardless of race, religion, origin, gender or disability.

Location

FO Childcare Services Inc. is located in a welcoming, inviting single family home in the Outer Mission neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), and art area (for expressing emotions and ideas).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth.

At SFO Childcare Services Inc. , I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.
