Hello, my name is Yvonne Piña, and I have been immersed in the world of childcare for 15 years.
My journey in this field began when I witnessed the joy and fulfillment my friend, who had been a dedicated nanny for years. It was then that I discovered my deep-seated passion for working with children. I started as a substitute nanny, always eager to lend a helping hand when needed. Over time, as my experience and rapport with families grew, I transitioned into full-time roles with them.
What I find most rewarding about my work with children is the privilege of witnessing their remarkable growth and the boundless curiosity with which they explore and learn about the world around them. It’s this extraordinary journey of nurturing young minds that continues to inspire and motivate me in my childcare career.
Philosophy
My nannying philosophy is rooted in the belief that children learn best through play. I am a firm advocate of a play-based approach, which allows kids to explore, experiment, and discover the world around them in a fun and engaging manner. To add a unique dimension to their learning experience, I incorporate a Spanish immersion touch into our daily activities. By seamlessly integrating the Spanish language into our playtime, I aim to provide the children I nanny with not only a rich cultural experience but also a valuable opportunity to become bilingual, enhancing their cognitive and social development. My goal is to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive, fostering their curiosity, creativity, and love for learning, all while having a blast.

Additionally, we understand that children thrive when they have opportunities for exploration and socialization, which is why, if desired, we also organize engaging field trips to nearby parks and libraries within the local area. Our services provide a safe and loving environment for your children to grow and learn, tailored to meet the specific needs of your family. About our program
Piña Nanny Services, located in San Francisco, is committed to providing exceptional childcare tailored to the unique needs of each family. My days typically kick off bright and early, as I often arrive before parents head to work to ensure a smooth start to the day. Flexibility is key, and I readily adapt my schedule to align with the parents’ needs, including working weekends and some holidays when prearranged with the families. I take great pride in customizing my care to suit the individual requirements of each family I work with. For those interested, I offer Spanish language instruction for the little ones. Throughout the day, we engage in a variety of activities, such as trips to the park (weather permitting) or outings to local libraries via MUNI or BART, although this mode of transportation is entirely optional, and I am equally happy to explore nearby walkable parks with the children. Your child’s safety, happiness, and development are my top priorities, and I am here to ensure a seamless and enriching childcare experience.
