Mirza Martinez, Director Is a professional in Business Administration with a specialty in Human Resources Management and Training, as well as a dedicated mother and passionate early childhood educator and entrepreneur. She brings her professional experience in leadership, training, organization, and human development into her work with children and families. As the Director of My Peke Care, Mirza is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where every child feels valued, respected, and encouraged to learn. She is passionate about supporting children’s development through meaningful interactions, hands-on experiences, play, and activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and social-emotional growth. Her personal experience as a mother has strengthened her understanding of the importance of providing children with individualized attention, patience, affection, and a strong sense of security. Mirza enjoys spending time with children, discovering their unique abilities and interests, and helping them develop their skills while building a positive understanding of the world around them. Through My Peke Care, her goal is to create a warm, family-like environment where children can learn, grow, and develop at their own pace while families feel confident that their children are receiving attentive and high-quality care.

My Peke Care is located in the welcoming Parkmerced community of San Francisco, a peaceful and family-oriented neighborhood in the 94132 area. Our location offers families the comfort of a residential setting while being conveniently connected to schools, parks, shopping, universities, and public transportation.
One of the things that makes our location special is the abundance of green spaces and opportunities for children to explore and enjoy the outdoors. We are close to Lake Merced, scenic walking paths, and several parks and recreational areas, providing families with easy access to nature and outdoor activities. We are also just minutes from Ocean Beach, TPC Harding Park, and the San Francisco Zoo, offering wonderful destinations for family outings.
Our program is conveniently located near San Francisco State University and Stonestown Galleria, where families can find shopping, dining, everyday essentials, and community activities. Parkmerced also offers a quiet, landscaped environment with tree-lined pathways and open spaces that create a pleasant atmosphere for families with young children.
The neighborhood is also very accessible by public transportation. Muni service connects Parkmerced with surrounding neighborhoods, Stonestown, San Francisco State University, West Portal, and Daly City BART, making it convenient for parents who commute to work or school. The SFMTA’s Route 57 Parkmerced operates daily and provides connections between Daly City BART, Parkmerced, Stonestown, and other nearby destinations.
Families also benefit from being close to several schools, including Commodore Sloat Elementary School and Lakeshore Alternative Elementary School, both served by nearby Muni routes.
