Our Teachers

Hello! I am Imane Dahou, the founder and director of Imane’s Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young.. I have 3 years of experience working with young children. In my free time, I love baking and playing outside with my own two young children.

Philosophy

We would love to invite you to be a founding family at Imane’s Wonderschool!

At Imane’s Wonderschool, our goal is to help our students have a broader perspective of the world by learning both the English language and the French language and culture. We believe our students learn new ideas best through hands-on activities, such as cooking and outdoor play, and a focus on music.

Location

Imane’s Wonderschool is located in the SoMa neighborhood, at the intersection of 6th Street and Natoma Street. We’re a 9-minute walk from both Civic Center BART station and Powell St BART Station. We’re also a quick, 5-minute drive from Pinterest headquarters.

Our cozy and welcoming apartment is located right next to our building’s outdoor terrace, where we will have our daily outdoor playtime and stretching activities.

About our program

At Imane’s Wonderschool, our students’ health and safety is very important - we serve organic, healthy food, and incorporate cooking into our daily activities so that our students can see how their food is made.

We make sure that our students stay active and have plenty of engaging activities to match their energy. We enjoy doing music and movement activities with our students, where we use singing and dancing to help them absorb phrases and numbers in both English and French.
