With academic degrees from German universities and over 16 years of experience in early education, I created Die Vorschule to be a space where that growth is nurtured intentionally, joyfully, and with deep respect for each child’s individuality.
Filosofía
Die Vorschule offers a warm, play-based early childhood program where children learn and grow in a joyful German immersion environment. Rooted in the belief that the early years shape a child’s lifelong love of learning, the program nurtures curiosity, confidence, and creativity through meaningful relationships and hands-on exploration.
Children naturally acquire the German language through songs, stories, movement, and everyday conversation — building strong communication skills while gaining cultural awareness. With a focus on the whole child, Die Vorschule supports social, emotional, and cognitive development in a caring, respectful community where every child is valued and encouraged to thrive.

Die Vorschule is located in San Francisco’s vibrant Mission District, a family‑friendly neighborhood full of parks, cafés, and colorful community murals. The school is easily accessible via Muni, BART, and nearby bus routes, and is close to local elementary schools, playgrounds, and green spaces — making it a convenient and lively setting for children to learn, play, and grow.

Die Vorschule is a Boutique German-Immersion Early Learning Program offering a calm, nurturing, and thoughtfully prepared environment. Our intentionally small group allows close observation and individualized monthly learning plans supporting each child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development. Through a play-based, holistic approach, our learners build confidence, focus, communication, and independence while developing a positive relationship with learning and a strong foundation for future programs. No prior German required - children learn German through full-day immersion, making language learning natural, confident, and meaningful.
